On December 16, 2017, Springboard Incubators Inc., in partnership with Linked Little Sisters NSBE Jr. kicked off their Raspberry Pi Engineering Workshop.
Once a month on Saturdays, instructors Ms. Alanna Shalinski and Dr. Steven C. Lindo will teach Raspberry Pi Engineering and basic Python coding language to Middle School girls who are interested in STEM and computer science. Our students will have the opportunity to learn Electrical Engineering techniques and will be able to use these skills in the classroom and even work on fun projects at home when the course has finished.
“The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized computer that plugs into your TV and a keyboard. It is a capable little computer which can be used in electronics projects and for many of the things that your desktop PC does, like spreadsheets, word processing, browsing the internet, and playing games. It also plays high-definition video.”
