Engineering Test Technician
The Engineering Test Technician course was designed to provide the students with a working vocabulary of terms used by Engineering Test Technicians and lay the foundation for the basic skills necessary in the industry including the ability to provide standard testing evaluation reports.
Students gained an understanding of the skills needed to become an Engineering Test Technician. They practiced how to develop and execute testing procedures for products. This included learning about IoT (Internet of Things) for Manufacturing.
The course has equipped students with the fundamental skills required in engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil & Aerospace. Throughout the duration of the course, students developed and learned the skills of problem solving, as well as how to design, construct and troubleshoot systems using testing equipment. As a part of the course, students also have gotten the opportunity to learn critical mathematical and physics concepts required to understand and solve engineering problems.
Social Media Strategist
The Social Media Strategist Course taught students how to create a promotional plan that takes advantage of social and digital technologies and how to choose social media technology to fit your business needs. Students were introduced to the idea that social media is much more than a way to amplify your message—it’s a powerful listening device that your whole company can learn from by using social monitoring for competitive intelligence. Students learned how to use social media as an additional set of marketing tools instead of a replacement for other promotional methods. They also learned that having great content can make all the difference when it comes to having the best reach and engagement for your brand, which in turn builds loyalty and drives sales. The course also discussed the importance of understanding the basic types of social media content, how to develop a strategic plan, and key factors that will help your content achieve the best results.
